About

I am an artist living in beautiful, sunny Wenatchee, Washington. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs and always wanted to paint. My paternal grandma was an artist, and I remember sneaking into her art room as a child to admire at her easel and brushes. However, I did not do well in art class in school, so I gave up on my dreams of being an artist — until the pandemic. Seeking a new hobby, I impulsively purchased a watercolor book for beginners in 2021, and I have been painting non-stop ever since!

I mainly paint landscapes and receive much of my inspiration from the world around me. I enjoy hiking and exploring nature, and I take all of my own reference photos. My husband and I talked about relocating for several years, and my one request was that we move somewhere with beautiful scenery so that I could continue to grow as an artist. We moved to Washington in 2023 and love it so far.

I work in corporate communications by day and paint by night. I also enjoy knitting, biking, and hanging out with my three cats.
